Hi I have a 960 1996....cooling fan will not engage....jumped fan motor works fine...direct power to in on fan relay good...jumped from neg on battery to low and hi poles on relay fan engages...relay seems to be fine....I need to now check the tempeture sensor located on thermostat housing and do not know how to do that also havent checked ecm codes...any ideas. please reply asap..david s

 

I guess i could unplug sensor swith and direct wire it and see if fan engages if so its the sensor...if not its either the sensor or the ecm control also are there any other sensors or fuses located somewhere else..
