hard winter starting
Hi,
Ever since it has gotten cold outside I have been having trouble starting my cold car-the car keeps stalling out. I have a vacuum gauge in my car and noticed that if I give enough gas when starting to get the gauge to 20 (I forget the units, sorry) the car will stay running even after I go off the gas pedal. Again, to be clear, as soon as the vacuum gauge reaches 20 I can release the gas pedal and the car stays running. I am sure that this is related to the cold weather since yesterday the temperature reached 55 F and the car started perfectly without my giving it any gas. Any ideas as why this is happening?
Thank you,
Steven
