the drivers heated seat doesn't work and it does sometimes when i troggle the switch or have it on the on position when i start the car. What s going on?

 

Is the switch working properly?

 

i looked at the back of the seat and i found that there is a wires or a few should i say that are wrapped in blue tape of some sort. This was the case under the car and was thew cause of my fuel gage not reading correctally. so could that be the problem should i take off the plugs and do what i did to fix the gas gage?
