i have a 87 760 ti and i'm pretty sure the engine is done but the car is mint condition .
i can't find the same engine any where.
what are my options? i mean is there a v8 or another engine that will bolt up to the tranny?

 

If it is a 87 760 fuel injected that is a standard B230

If you go with a V-8 you will need the trans to match the engine.

 

the engine is a b230t or what ever it's called and it automatic

is swaping in v8's common or is it not worth the time and money

 

There is alot of them out there but it is alot of work.

The B230FT is a common engine any 740 turbo engine will work or a 940 turbo engine.
