Default Nivomat or not

I have 1993 960 shock replacement project with suspension code M. I have ordered SACHS 30683451 but when I had pulled out the original I can see the two are not much alike. I have attached picture of the two shocks....can someone help identify the original so that I can replace it with the right one?

Hi ZsoltAA, gave you a free ride over to the 960 model forum for more reads from the experts. QQ - can you read a part number or see a marking such as 25 or 48 (48 being the Nivomat marking) on the old shock you just pulled? Nivomats are half shock/half spring so they should be fatter than normal rear shocks...

no part number visible and definitely larger than the typical shock.

Nivomat. You can always tell a Nivomat by the bellows that cover the helper spring.
