volvo 780 v6 BERTONE!!!!

I have seen this thing on craigslist for about 6 months now. the guy has gone from $2000 to $800 on his own accord. I never really cared for the bertone series but at that price it might be worth it. I realize this one has the Volkswagen v6 and not the dohc turbo 4 but thats just an engine swap away. i don't understand the "bring your own battery bit", that has been my one deterent to contacting the seller.

I just thought i would put this up because there is probably someone looking for a 780 Bertone. Grab this one and clean it up. Give it the love it has been needing.

 

Pretty sure this thing is a POS all around.
BTW, the engine is the PRV, a joint venture of Peugeot, Renault and Volvo, VW was not involved. And an engine swap is not an easy thing!

 

Wish I could find one...I saw a gold Bertone the other day, parked in a Laundromat near the University of Cincinnati. Deep tint window film that was fading to purple and no obvious damage. My wife would have shot me if I turned around to take a closer look, so I kept going...

 

i so would love something like that as a daily driver
