Default Stoked on the Junkyard!

So I had the afternoon off today, and figured I would head down to the local pick a part and see if I could get a few cosmetic items that I have been wanting for my 960. Man am I stoked. I got two dash speaker grills in absolutely perfect condition, a perfect panel with absolutely nothing wrong for the rear hatch (no more rattling!), a new air intake hose for the throttle body, a set of cup holder "danglies" a new cap for the windshield washer resivior, and an OEM Volvo wood dash kit, which I am particularly happy about because it is actual wood, and I never knew that it was a factory option on the 93 960. All for about 40 bucks......now if I could just find some IPD sway bars. I was also looking for a rear spring to replace my saggy drivers side spring I currently have, and all I found was cars without the Nivomat rear suspension. Can I use one of these? Does anyone know if the springs are different between the regular and the nivomat suspension?

The Nivomat spring is softer than the regular suspension setup.

so assuming they bolt right in, if I swapped over 2 springs from the standard suspension my rear end would just be firmer? or a lot firmer?

I do not think it will get really firm.
I know that when you swap from Nivomat's to normal shocks you have to use the standard springs. If not it will sag real bad.

Back when I had my 740, I got a set of HD springs from IPD and I was VERY HAPPY with them. I use to load that car down pretty good going camping and traveling and the springs carried the weight very well. I would spring for a set of those if they are still offered.

I have thought about the heavy duty springs, but I don't want to do the conversion to standard shocks. I replaced my nivomats less than a year ago, and I love the self leveling. After the car sits for the night the left side has always been lower, I'm assuming it's just a worn spring. If I just put the standard wagon springs back there (that I can pull from the junkyard for super cheap) it should be a pretty solid setup I would think...
