What is this part called?
Hi, I'm new here. I just bought my wife a 1996 N/A wagon. There was a loose piece of metal hose that doesn't look like it belongs. Can someone tell me what the correct term for this hose is, so I can buy the right one. Thanks
sorry pic wouldn't upload
It is connected to the airbox on 1 end and what looks like some kind of manifold on the block other end.

It looks like the original must have been lost or deteriorated. Someone put this hose on here but it doesn't seal very well. I'd like to get the oem one, So What does volvo call it?
I'm not seeing it listed on parts sites.

'Heat Riser'
It transfers warm air from the exhaust manifold into the intake during cold conditions. Its not mission critical but needed in Calif (at least) to pass smog. You dont need it to be OEM unless you want, its not a critical part. You should be able to get the line from an auto parts store and be done.
