Hi so im new to the site and was wondering if i could get a bit of input on my current situation with my 94 850 non-turbo 5 speed sedan?

The issue i am having is that at first the car starts up and will run fine except the idle now for some reason sits at 400rpm. Once the car is warmed up like after a 10-20 min drive it will start back up but almost immediately will spudder and die no matter how much i push on the gas. It will do this more and more untill the car wont even try to turn over. It occasionally will do this in the middle of driving.

I checked the codes and tried replacing the coolant temperature sensor as well as the IAC valve and both didnt fix the problem.

any thoughts cause im stumped?

 

The codes will get you started. Once you have those we can have a better understanding. Could be a number of things.

 

Is it a 20V or a 10V? The 20v are very allergic to air leaks . Check the big plastic hose between the air filter and the throttle body.
Also what codes did you pull? Is the Check Engine light on?

 

It is a 20v. The service light comes on for the first 2 or 3 min of driving and then turns off. I pulled the codes before i did the IAC and reset them but i cant remember what they were right now. I will try to pull them here soon
