A little history..
We pulled motor/trany for RMS, also had sketchy S1 code intermittent. Replaced S1 and lock up solenoid. Motor/trany installed and topped off fluids. Had to deal with a idle issue but resolved after a few days. During that issue did drive a little and trany seemed fine. Last test drive after fixing idle issue it seemed that at 45-50 trany did not go to a higher gear, rpms seemed a tad high. Next day no reverse, nothing led me to think this would happen

Transmission is a 50-42LE

-PNP was new a few months ago, was checked and adjusted to no evail
-No codes thrown, may not have driven enough
-Did find bad trany speed sensor, replaced with used, no change
- New fluid, not low

Research found seems everyone says its a gonner but I tought I would ask for another opinion before I decide to replace.


I have yet to find a good database on what years/models I can pull a compatible transmission from, below are a few I found in the junk yard when getting my speed sensor. Is there a list of compatible models?
