So, i picked up my first Volvo a week or two ago. I decided to start a formal build thread so i can have an archive of the maintenance and modifications I make. Its a 5 speed, built in Belgium, with about 175,000mi on it. I believe I am the fourth owner and I have relatively complete service records. Since i got it i have replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the engine bay up a bit. Its my daily and money is tight but i will update this thread from time to time as i get parts and put more work into it. Here are some photos of how it sits now.

I don't know what style you're going for, but since you're new to Volvo I'll give you some suggestions. Obviously, everything depends on personal preference, but on my cars I always start with tinted windows. Then keep your eyes open for a rear spoiler, and some V70 door handles. Easy, bolt-on upgrades that give it a nice look I think, and if you look around you'll eventually find them in black. Won't cost too much either, which is always good.

 

@mudpie thanks man, tints are going in this summer. Ive been calling scrapyards looking for 850r interior trim and a spoiler. I think I want turbo wheels atleast as winter rims. The first order of business is suspension though.
