Okay here she is! Shes a little beat up but thats kinda what I like about her. Ive only had her for about 2 weeks now. So far Ive found a bunch of common issues that you would expect of a Volvo of this age.

Ive replaced some PVC lines, the serpentine belt, the Odo Gear and the upper engine stabilizer mounts (Both). Ordered the lower mount and the trans mount is here waiting to be installed. The suspension will have to be addressed in the near future along with some supporting handling mods.

There is a fault in the heat and a/c system I think its the door actuator module. Just need to install that. I know the rest of the PCV system is going to need to be replaced. I have ordered a heater core since its pretty easy to do and cheap. Timing is on the list of things rather close to the top.

Other than the normal stuff she drives pretty good. Ive done quite a bit of research on this particular model and all of its quirks. I do know to use all OEM parts for most things on the car and I look forward to many good times in the new turbo wagon

Good. I'm about to replace a couple of coolant hoses and a heater core today.

Ok so I haven't posted in quite some time. Been busy working and fixing this old piece of eurotrash. lol. Plus Ive been looking to buy a house and taking care of a 4yr old full time so that dosnt leave a lot of time for updates. Anyhow I picked up a pair of s40 wheels and had them machined to fit. Only paid $100 with very good tires.

I recently rebuilt the entire front suspension with OE parts. I added a strut brace up front and a "swaybar" in the rear last week along with a pair of Koni sport junkyard find rear shocks. Tonight I got an alignment and added a cabin air filter from a v70 and last weekend I did the heater core. fun fun fun...

Ive also acquired a roof rack which Im currently making a fairing for. The timing belt service is coming up sooner rather than later but the PCV system rebuild is probably next. Also have a 302mm brake brackets, caliper rebuild kit and ss lines to be installed up front. In the meantime Im still looking for a rear spoiler & Im sure Ive missed a few things but you get the point. Busy busy busy...

Nice, what had to be machined about the wheels? How much did that cost?

The center bore had to be increased. It cost me about $200 plus tire removal and then mount and balance. Ended up around $400 for everything, so its still a win in my book. Plus its fun to mess with people who at first glance thing they are Pegs.
