Default 1996 850 volvo running light fuse

the daytime running lights are not working, i checked the bulbs W/the test light something shorted, checked all fuses under the hood, still good, any other fuses? what did i do wrong?

Do they work in the headlight position?
Maybe the headlight switch is also bad.

headlights work. shorted out running lights in rear. any other fuses? under hood?

Oh do you mean parking lights?
If so there is also a blue relay/box looking thing in the trunk on the drivers side. That is the bulb failure relay that might be doing it.

i seen that did that relay go bad and is it alot of $ to fix

I would check a local salvage yard first. To start I would unplug it and see if the fuse stops blowing. Also maybe unplug the front corner lights as well till the fuse does not blow. Then connect each thing till it blows.

went and tryed it didnt work i unpluged and pluged it back in and the same thing anything else you may can let me know im lost

Did you unplug all 4 light assembly's?

Unplug the plugs to the rear taillights and front corner lights.
