1996 850 Wagon Headlamp washers fluid line hookup
Hi All.
I purchased an 850 wagon this summer. The windshield washers didn't squirt so I replaced the t-valve (from FCP) found under the hood soundproofing as reccomended by this group. All is perfect! I then realized the headlamp washers also don't squirt. Turns out the hoses are dangling behind the grill but are not hooked up to the fluid line leaving the filter in any way. I assume the the little t-valve got clogged and they were disconnectected at that time. Here's my question. I think the previous owner must have taken a tee out from the line leaving the filter which ran over to the little tee behind the grill which routes fluid to the 2 lamp washers. Is this correct? It seems I need a tee in the main line leaving the filter--one arm going to the windshield and one arm going to the little tee behind the grill from which 2 lines go to each headlamp washer?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks FCP Groton
Thanks very much. I have a new (from FCP) tee/check valve that branches to the 2 headlamp lines. As for the tee I need to re-splice into the line leading from the filter to that tee, would a small plastic tee ( say a vacuum tee available at most auto parts store) of the same diameter as the large inlet on the headlamp tee/check valve work?. Or is this a special tee with a check valve as well that I would need to get from the dealer. Unfortunatly, since this was all removed from the car prior to my purchase, I don't know what was there to begin with. Thanks again.
