Default S80 Headlamp Washers

Hello All,

I've got a headlamp washer issue on a 2007my S80.

When operating the screen washers, the headlamp washers fire as expected, but only the passenger side washer sprays water. The drivers side washer pops up out of the bumper, but no water sprays out.

Anybody got any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Jim

hmm could be one of your lines have come loose or valve. Do you get any fluid dripping on the floor then? you will have to trace the pipes while some one is pressing on the headlamp washer switch. Open the hood and see/feel/hear that pipe.
Or you might have to remove the headlamp to get a clear view beneath

No fluid leaking that I can see. Will try to trace the pipes as you suggest. Looks like removing the headlamp unit is the easiest way to get at the pipes?

Many thanks

its usually the easiest way. Not sure how hard it is remove the headlamp assembly. Or if you can get underneath the car and view it from there (if you can). You will have to identify the pipe leading to the spray nozzle first and then hopefully it will be easier to identify the problem. thats why you need two people and lots of extra windshield fluid..lol
