Ineed some help please ive got a 850r 5sp and the other day irode into quite alot of water after it had rained and the car was spluttering and missing for about 6 miles then it started to run smoothly again and drove for about 2miles then it died on me .Had to tow it home the next day i cleaned and dried all the wire plug connectors took the distributor cap off and dried that aswell .nothing was really wet but sprayed wurth electrical cleaner on every connection and distributor ,but it would not start checked for spark and no spark at all looked on youtube and checked the crank sensor which is fine but camshaft sensor pin 3 has no 12 v on it .now is it controlled by the ecu or can i hot wire it from battery? will it damage my ecu or not ,any body please help if you can thanks anthony

did you check the fuel injector relay?

 

hi yes fuel relay working fine but no spark

 

Did you check for codes? I had a similar problem and Cam position sensor went on me all of a sudden. Replaced it and she fired right up.
