Default 300k on my 850 turbo

I have just recently bought a 94 850 turbo wagon it is an auto and I have a few problems for starters I have to replace the down pipe as it was modified in a back yard... It is causing a problem with fuel econ... the mileage counter broke at 259k but the speedo works and the horn doesnt work.. The abs light is on but the fuses are pulled for the system I put them in and the light stayed on and the traction light came on so I pulled the fuses again. I have to replace the suspension front and rear and I also have to replace the blower motor for my hvac system.... The car runs great no problems with the engine other than the down pipe and a tune up... the trans shifts a little harder than I think it should in sport.... thinking that I will do a filter and fluid change on it unless someone thinks that is not a good idea.....

any advice would be great as this is my first volvo......

As for your hard shifting, probably the transmission mount.
