Default 850 awd 300k

hey guys,quick question... well questions.
i am coming up quick on 300k km's and was wondering if you guys new of any issues that will pop up when i get there.. so far i have had no oil leaks, no blue smoke or smells or anything aside from the noise coming from under and near the engine compartment, have not had any luck on posting pics or a sound file onto this forum.

question 2 since i am coming upto 300k km's is it a good idea to put in a new turbo (18T) with new downpipe and dual exhaust and ecu or stick with the lpt i have and put in a new downpipe and dual exhaust and ecu.

https://www.facebook.com/#!/michael.almeida.52 i put up a video/sound clip of it onto my fb page

When you say "ECU" are you talking about getting a tune ??

Like ARD does ? https://ardideas.3dcartstores.com/85...1997_c_13.html

In that case I'd go for a bigger turbo. 18 or 19 will use the same downpipe. Dual, IMHO is for looks as it doesn't take that much pipe to get all the exhaust out. A good quality 2.5" back should be more than adquate unless you're really going to drop a lot of money into it. Unless it's stainless the other problem is with true dual set ups they seem to rust out quicker as they don't have as much heat to dry them out. If you have ever noticed how much water drips out a tailpipe when the vehicle is first started it has a whole bunch more pooling inside the muffler and all the low points in the pipes and the joints.
If you go stainless it doesn't matter but then it's still more for looks than performance. You could always just hang a second tailpipe tip

I have about 300K now and I put on a 19, OBX 3" downpipe with single exhaust.

I went with the big 3" diesel set up (stock) for my 88 chev pickup (350 gas). It's the same hangers, mounts from the cat back and it eliminated that fake dual outlet on the passenger side. Had a dual outlet muffler and twin tailpipes out the pass side. They always rusted in a few years. Have had the single set up for almost a decade. Wasn't stainless of course.

With any amount of miles pushing your car past it's stock limits that it's designed for may cause certain issues to arise. Most likely stuff like vacuum hoses and little things, but just make sure to have your car fully stage 0 before you start modding.. Go with ARD, for sure

Sorry I don't do fb.

Umm, 18T on a B5254t (LPT)? Isn't that kind of overkill? Or have you changed engines or vehicles?
