Went to change the axle boots on my 95 850 turbo and it seems someone along the line someone changed out the axles. The boots on the bearing side were too big. Also according to the book i should have had bent tabs holding the inner joint in but there were wire rings. Could these be off a non turbo or a later model? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have never heard of or seen an axle on an 850 like the one you are describing. If you have a picture of it, that would help.
