My beloved 850T5 just comming up to 200k has just devloped the fault of flashing arrow on dash, no speedo, no fuel gauge, no tacho, no temp gauge. Everything else on the car works and it drives as well as usual. Cannot see connection between these areas - is this a self help item or am I into serious expense?

I am moving this to the 850 section but would ask the year of the car and have you read the fault codes? Up to 1995 you can use the self diagnostic box in the engine compartment. 1996 on you would need to go to somewhere like Autozone to have the codes read.

 

Its a Dec 94 Model but UK - not sure I can pull the codes -

If you get no codes, then try this: disconnect the battery, pull out the computer and transmission modules (they are under the square black box on the left side of the engine as you are looking at the car) and reseat the modules in the box, making sure they are in tight for a good connection. Then reconnect the battery and see if that helps
