850 no fuel
(codes 143, 144, 123, 213, and 444) what makes fuel injectors fire! my 850 will run w/ starting fluid or gas but will not continue to run. I have fuel pressure @ the rail but engine is not getting fuel. not crank sensor, cam sensor or fuel pump relay

Also is this a turbo or no?
1-4-3 ................... Front Knock Sensor Signal Absent Or Faulty
1-4-4 ............. Load Signal From Fuel Injection Absent Or Faulty
1-2-3 ..... Engine Temp. Signal From Fuel Injection Absent Or Faulty
2-1-3 ?? double ck; don't see that one
4-4-4 ?? only on turbo? Acceleration Sensor Signal
non turbo! can knock sensor cause no start problem, also have checked temp sensor in thermostat housing, throttle position sensor! P. S. don't know (whiskey tango foxtrott) about posting was lucky to get posted but have 2-850 1993, 1-s40 2001 and 1996 960 have had very good luck til now with anything that's broken thanks to VOLVO FORUM!

Well you might do what I did today on my 94 850. Disconnect the Mass air sensor and the accordion hose from the air box , and start. Today I put a fuel pump relay fuse in today and my car started , but running rough; I had to work the throttle just to make it run, until I did the above mentioned. Purrs real sweet, now I k ow what part to get.
The 1-4-4 code and what rspi said i think is your main issue right now...
I don't think you're getting 12v to the fuel injectors; pwr is supplied via the FUEL SYSTEM MAIN RELAY which is that big relay mounted to top of radiator shroud. This relay also supplies pwr to IAC, O2 sensor heater, MAF, etc.
While cranking (and probably in RUN) you should see 12v on the green wire coming from the relay. If not, try rapping on a few times with a screw driver handle or such; bet it will start working.
