Looking at buying a 95 850 that needs some work. Here's a pic. can somebody identify what would be causing the oil leak, and what it would cost to repair it. (could do it myself or have it done)

Could be seal of oil cap or could be PCV-blockage-caused leak. Oil cap seal will be cheap and fast. PCV will be $150 and a few hours if you do it yourself.

 

check the cap seal ring, if its hard or cracked wich it probably is, but isnt your only problem.. you need to have to pcv/oil trap replaced, you have to take the intake off and replaced a hose or two.. id almost bet my first born that that car has pressure in the crankcase. and it could come from the back hose just to the left of the pictures you put up lol the hose runs from the pcv box under the intake, in between the intake runners and goes to the top of the valve cover to the left of the oil cap i believe, in that area.
