850 volvo oil trap diagram
Hi, I've looked through the site but have not seen a diagram for the 850 wagon, It appeaers that our old mechanic has cut and taped shut our oil trap hose! this would explain the engine overhaul we've been doing for the last 6 months. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

This is from our 1996 850 (non-turbo) sedan
(Overview of PCV system)
(The oil trap with attached hoses free from the engine)
(The lower hoses on the oil trap connect to the ports on the engine that are circled in red. The bolt holes where it fastens on are circled in yellow.)
(The hose on top of the oil trap that runs sideways attaches to the upward-facing port on the flame trap, which twist-locks into the elbow of the air intake duct.)
(The hose on top of the oil trap that runs upward connects to this port on top of the engine. This is covered by the large black piece on top of the engine.)
The intake manifold has to be removed to perform this job, and it is recommended that you change your oil after completing it also.
