Default 850 w/a short

I've got a '96 850 that blows the 10amp fuse, #15, for inside lights, diagnostic plug and what not.

The door chime also dings when the doors are closed, while driving down the road.

When I was fooling w.the fuses, I noticed that when you plugged in a fuse, it would momentarily stop dinging...it would blow the fuse almost instantly. It will blow a 30a fuse quickly.

Idears???

volvowiringdiagrams.com and volvotips.com are two good resources to see where there may be common grounds etc.

Keep over-fusing circuits until you find the problem; it will be where the fire starts..

Does yours have a separate door switch or is the switch part of the latch assembly?
