Good Evening Everyone,
I have an issue and idea. my 1994 Volvo 850 N/A wagon hatch latchs' two rivets that hold the latch assy together seem to have loosened over the years and now the latch assy is starting to get loose. I thought grinding the rivets out and replacing them with low clearance nuts and bolts would be sufficient with some threadlock? any input would be greatly appreciated.
also maybe there is a source to buy a replacement cheap if any one knows of a place I would appreciate the info

 

Sounds like a good plan.

Any wrecker would be a good place to start if your going to replace it.
