Exclamation 850Turbo to 850 Wheel

These 850 Turbo wheels will have no conflict being installed on a base 96' 850 correct? Probably a stupid question but better to ask and be sure it wont mess up a TPS or something. Also, What size tire goes on these? The steel's I have now are 195/60R15's and I believe these are 16's. Would the lugs from the steel wheel be compatible with the alloy? Thanks!

Other than needing tires, you'll be fine.

Though, I find S80 / C70 wheels more attractive myself.

I find that 16" tires the original size rub on all my Volvos so originally equipped. Since you asked, there's the real answer. They'll eventually rub a hole through the plastic inner fender. Pay attention to how your wheel speed sender wiring is controlled, and any other potential interference you see.

My cousin has a '99 T5 with the factory 16s, I've never noticed an issue with rubbing.

Those Columbas will fit your base 850 just fine. Same hub size and bolt pattern on all 850s. Not a bad price either!

$Six Zero. Craigslist. Search for Volvo wheels or 5x108 wheels

Kinda funny; I did the opposite and put the stealys on my 855T.

IIRC the recommended tire size for the 16" rims is 205/50-16 and those should not rub but most tire shops will want to sell you 205/55-16 (it's more common size I guess) and those will most likely rub through the the fender liners (mine did).

But I think what you're asking is the fender opening different between the turbo and N/A models; there isn't, they're the same.
