ok, it's not my car it's my girlfriends car, and she doesn't live around the corner from me so bare with some of this information.


What I've been told, the 850 at some point had a recall on the tranny. If this is true or not her tranny wasn't recalled. It has always been funny, and recently started to slip.

So, first thing we are going to try is to change out the oil and filter, if this tranny has a filter.

From there if that doesn't work I guess we'll have to look into a new/used tranny. So does anyone know of any good volvo junk dealers in PA near PHilly, or allentown?

Now, if there was a recall is there a good tranny code to look for vs a bad tranny code to look for? and I know I should put a manual tranny in but she's a girl and you know girls only drive automatics.
