Default 94 850 turbo

Car suddenly started running very roughly and stalling. Now it's throwing numerous codes.315 evap,543 miss on at least one cyl.,454 miss#4,542 misfire on more than one cyl.,143 front knock sensor,452 miss#2,433 no rear knock sensor signal,451 miss#1,455 miss#5. I'm thinking either a lack of fuel or spark.

Do a compression test first.

I'd start with a visual check of the vacuum lines - starting at the vacuum tree under the throttle cable spool, check for air leaks on the intake (from turbo to MAF) then consider measuring fuel pressure at the rail. You can also inspect the wires by looking at the date codes - if over 5 years old consider new wires and look at the rotor, cap, plugs (I've seen a cracked distributor cap do this kind of stuff...).

Thanks for the replies guys, we're in the process of painting the entire inside of the house, tearing out the old carpet, trying to find places for all the furniture and work full time,so i'm struggling to find time to look at the car.The vacuum lines and the intake tube all look good, but I haven't got to the plugs and wires yet.

OK,the plugs and wires are in horrible shape, now I just need a little luck and a lot of money. Central air unit went out last week so I have no idea when i'll be able to buy parts for the car.

you can save some buying online. I'd start with OEM copper core plugs (850Ts prefer them to the expensive plugs), a wire loom set, distributor cap and rotor for the ignition. FCP Euro, EEuroparts, IPD USA all sell kits to save a few bucks.

Thanks for the info mt6127, hopefully nothing else breaks, between the house paint, new carpet, trim, lights, furniture and central air unit i'm about over it. All that money sure adds up quick!
