my 94 has developed a problem with the fan when it's cold. Basically the heater fan goes on when I turn it on but after about 2 mins it stops by itself and won't go back on unless I shut off the car and start it again. THen it comes back on for a couple of mins. When the car is warm it doesn't shut off. Any ideas what this might be? It's not cool in the winter time with my wife and 2 babies under 2yrs old don't appreciate the cold.

Usually means your fan is going out. Sometimes lubing the motor can delay a replacement. There are a lot of threads on this subject so do a little reading.
