Hey all,

New to the forum, just got over to England and bought a right hand drive 95 Burgandy Estate (Wagon). The question I have right now, isthere is some black trim along the outside running next to the windscreen, up and over the top of the vehicle to the hatch. This trim is peeling off, and I would like to replace it. Does anyone have any idea of what to use, or how to do it? It looks like the same (probably vinyl) as my Saab does on it's exterior trim. I have looked at part sites, but can not find anything.

Any help would be appreciated!

What some people do is either peal it all off and clean it up and leave it. Or some people paint the area with a decent black paint.

 

Hey thanks for the post. I just got the internet installed in my new home, no more public internet connections for me.

I found some rubberized tape to use if I can figure out how to get it off the car.. I found and downloaded the users manual, but I doubt that even Hayes manual would cover removal of that trim.

If anyone knows, please let me know.. still trying to work on it, but it gets so dark so fast now, and it doesn't fit in my UK garage.. I am not sure what fits in there.. maybe a mini? I was able to get her nose in the garage but thats it.

Let me know, I would love to replace it.
