Default 95 850 Heater Core bypass

My heater core is shot, I would like to bypass it for the summer.

I was going to remove the junk core and make a loop with some heater hose off the existing lines. What is the size line do I need?

Or is there a different way?

Look in your engine bay, drivers side above turbo. You will see two lines side by side running through the firewall. I believe the lines are around 3/4". Disconnect both hoses and attach them together and clamp them good. Very simple procedure.

When you do get around to replacing it, go with OEM part; fcp has a good deal on them...

I did this for a short time. I used a spare hose from the second 850 I had, cut the end off and looped it back to the inlet on the engine. From one outlet to the other outlet. I used the long hose. If your not going or able to cut your hose then follow James_caza's advice.
