First of all thanks for the forum. I was able to fix the cutting off problem. She has a few other issues I needed opinion on. The hand brake light keeps on going on and off could that be a cable or something else? The ABS, Traction light comes on sometimes. The other problem when I urn the steering wheel to one side it makes a noise and is hard to turn. It does not seem to be a power steering issue. Last but not theleast the fan sometimes will nit turn off. Thanks for all of your help.

 

OK, a lot of stuff here. I am going to break it down.

The hand brake light keeps going on and off, could that be a cable or something else?

There is a switch in the hand brake that is pushed down when the break is on, if that switch goes, it will cause the light to come one.

The ABS and Traction lights come on sometimes.

Check to see what codes are stored in slot A3. More then likely it is the pedal position sensor.

The other problem is when I turn the steering wheel to one side, it makes a noise and is hard to turn.

Check out your upper spring mounts and your control arms. More then likely, they need to be replaced.

Last but not east the fan sometimes will not turn off. Thanks for all of your help.

I am thinking a stuck fan relay.

Check all this out and let us know how you make out.

 

Let me start with the hand brake since it seems to be the easiest. I can not see a switch? Where would it be? I will probably get rid of her since I am not really handy at fixing things but a master at braking!!!!!!!
