95 850 turbo wagon stalling, idling, and bucking issues
I've got a 95 850 turbo wagonw/ 240k miles. I've been having a problem for a while where it doesn't want to idle when it starts so I have to keep on the gas. I'd had a couple instances where it'd stall if I came to a stop/idle where I didn't wait a couple minutes for the engine to warm.I also have a bit of a lope/ buckwhen driving, especially noticable at low idle positions. On the top end the turbo would never go much past the halfway mark. I had an instance where the car refused to start for a couple minutes after gassing up a few weeks ago. The next morning a new problem emerged as I was driving on the highway all the idiot lights went on and the car acted as if it stalled even though it wasn't stalled out. SoI coasted over to the side and about 15 seconds later it just clicked back in.I went and did a much overdue tune up with all OEM parts (wires, cap, rotor, plugs, fuel and oil filters). The car ran smooth and practically perfectright after, the turbo engaged all the way when floored but it bucked something fierce a couple of times. The next day it ran as though we never did a tune up. I had to keep my foot on the gas so it wouldn't stall at initial start up, the car kind of lopes at lower speeds, if I gunned the throttle it woulddo a few harsh bucks, and it again did the almost stalled out routine, same thing-the engine power went down to nothing and I tried coasting over to the side, about 15 seconds later it just kicked back in as normal.I haven't pulled any codes yet. I'm going to do the timing belt/ water pump major service on Sunday and was looking for advice on this issue, what we should look for.
Thanks very much.

Welcome to the forum Aarathon423.
At this age it could be anything. Electrical connection/ electrical malfunction, fuel delivery, sensors: MAF,cam etc.
If I were you I would find the out the problem before you do all the work you have planned, just in case its something major.
