I replaced the hubs on my 97' R wagon. Part of the process was unplugging the electrical connection to the housing. Now the TRACS is indicated as being OFF all the time, and my ABS light is on. Do I need a machine to reset this or is there another way?

Did you leave it unplugged?
You will need a scanner to clear them.

 

Yeah, made that mistake at first( lest them unplugged). After I figured it out I plugged it back in, they came on, now they have turned off. The car healed itself!

Well the codes are still there but working on clearing them selves.

 

Is there anything that I need to do? will they still function properly?

Eventually if there is no fault they will clear.
Try locking up the brakes SAFELY on gravel and see if the ABS works.
Usually when codes are stored ABS will not work.
