I have a 96 turbo that needs a new trans. I also have a 94 850 turbo (with the original reverse intercooler) parts car. Will the 94 trans work in the 96?

 

should bolt right in.

 

After installation is completed, be sure to fill the gearbox with Dexron-III/Mercon (clear red appearance). Do not over/under-fill it.

I'm more concerned about the harnesses. I haven't had time to look them over (the 94 is at my Dad's house) but I'm assuming they're just plug and play? I wish I had the money to just swap in a 5-speed. The auto is just something I already have. I guess I'll just have to do this AGAIN when I get the 5-speed.
