WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF FOR EXAMPLE THERE WAS SLUDGE BUILT UP IN TOP END OF THE ENGINE
LET SAY THAT THE OIL MAYBE WAS NOT DRAINING BACK DOWN FAST ENOUGH.
I HAVE A SMOKE PROBLEM AND EVERYONE I SPOKE TO SAID THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE
IS SLUDGE BECAUSE THE CAR WAS NOT USED ALOT MAYBE LESS THAN 7000 MI A YEAR.
AND HOW CULD IT BE RESOLVED. I DID A MOTOR FLUSH BUT THAT DID NOT HELP.
IS THERE ANYWAY TO UNCLOG THE HOLES WHERE THE OIL DRAINS BACK DOWN

 

A smoke problem could be caused by many things and not necessarily sludge. When you look inside the oil filler cap, do you see any sludge?

 

I HAVE NOT LOOKED REAL CLOSELY BUT WHAT I DID SEE WAS OIL DON'T KNOW HOW DEEP IT WAS
I WILL TRY TO SEE WITH A LIGHT. AND REPORT BACK

 

oil is fine. even some varnish is fine but sludge is not good...

 

Agreed if you just see oil that is fine.
Do you hear tapping when the car is running?

 

A lot of people rave about Auto-RX to fix sludge. I haven't heard anything negative about it except reports of leaks but that may be because of switching to synth after using it and also from removing all the crud in the engine. I guess it's worth a shot if you're looking at a rebuild...
