95 850 has carbon buildup want to know if anyone has used Top Engine Cleaner (TEC) before?

Try SeaFoam

 

BP has a multi-part TEC kit. You can pick it up at your higher end parts stores, or foreign only stores.

I used to use Sea Foam on my Toyota landcruiser (205,xxx miles). I'd pour half the can in through the carb while the truck was running, and then put the other half in my gas tank. It worked well.

Greetings from Yokohama.

Besides SeaFoam, I would use Techron fuel system cleaner in the tank, and use throttle body cleaner (one that's safe for O2 sensor + cat converter) spray into the throttle body and scrub-clean it with a tooth brush.
