ABS light
I've had an intermittent ABS light that is temperature related. I thought when I did my brake job that cleaning the sensors might help but it didn't. On cool or cold mornings I get no light even after driving long distance but on warm or hot afternoons it comes on quickly.
Any ideas?? Thanks

Thanks for all the input. While browsing the V70 area I came across some useful info posted by Howardc64, his website has some very useful stuff

and a link he had to here

It had more info on the ABS control module. apparently the problem is known for being heat related. When I get a chance I'll take my module off and take it apart to see what components can be upgraded or heat sinked.

The vast majority of ABS lights are caused by faulty computers. I believe the solder is what goes bad on them. There are several places that will repair it for you (at a cost of roughly $100 and change) plus I think there are directions online if you're into DIY repair.
Whatever you do, don't take it to the dealer. They will want $800+ for a new computer when yours, in all likelihood, can be refurbished with minimal effort and funds.
I recommend Module Master (located in Idaho) if you want to send it somewhere to get repaired. The turnaround time was fast and the work was guaranteed for five years.

I do alot of them at work. I atleast double the amount of solder on it than there was from the factory. I have never had one come back as of yet. The wifes is going on about 2 years now.
