Default Alarm LED, how to reattach?

Hey guys,

Has anyone ever had to reattach the LED alarm indicator on the dash. I guess it used to have plastic tabs to hold it in, but mine floats in the socket and wont stay down. It seems like a small area for double sided tape. I also don't want to use anything too messy. I have tan interior, but that part of the dash is black. I'm hoping someone else has found the best way to do this.

Thanks everyone!

I've used krazy glue before, not sure how long it lasts though.

I have the same problem. It is very annoying! I have tried several kinds of glue but the vibration won´t let it stay put.

Maybe Gorilla Glue? It is somewhat pliable when dry, it my stand the vibration better.

Gorilla Glue is one of those newer glues that expand significantly as they dry- I would not use it. I think it would creat quite a mess in this spot.

I'm leaning towards using some Black RTV sealant- maybe it's flexible enough for the vibration- yet thick enough to not make a mess applying it.

I have the same issue! Haha. I'm thinking something like 5 minute epoxy? That stuff is strong and can be wiped up before it dries.

Mine comes out a little every once in a while and I just push it back in. I don't pay much attention to it. But it's not sticking out that far.
