When I manually lock the doors from the outside, what should set off the alarm? I never knew I had an alarm till one day I lock the car from the trunk then accidently set off the alarm. But I have never done this when I lock it from the driver door. Any ideas?

 

If you want to test it leave the window open and lock the car. Then after a minute or two reach in and pull the hood release.
