I want to put some snow tires on my 850.

Has anybody deviated from the factory size. I want to go a smidgen taller, w/the same width? Say a 205/60-15 or a 195/65-15.

 

I've used 185/65-15s. Narrow to cut through the snow and keeps the same rolling circumference. Either of those sizes will fit but will change the speedo by about 2%. I have some used snows on steelies with factory hubcaps from my 850 if interested (located in western CT). I'll be posted on the classified forum this weekend once I snap a photo.

 

The tire width it hat you mentioned was is one of the reasons that I was looking at changing tire size. I also wanted to gain a little height,

I am about 40 miles from UT...the cost to get your stuff would be more than what it would take to buy new stuff.....bummer.
