Default Alternator Regulator Replacement-94 850

Hey guys,
You're probably sick of alternator/ charging system questions, but how hard is it to replace the regulator on the alternator? I am a lil short on cash being in school and I found the Bosch replacement for about 35 on Eeuro. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Not bad at all. Pull the alternator, remove the cover, 3 screws, then pull the regulator, 2 screws I believe.

Are you sure your alternator is bad? These cars have bad cables which effect the charging. A guy on Matt's site just did a fix that is working very well for him so far. He removed the battery and soldered the connector and his system is now charging at 13.89 v.

Don't know anyone who would let you return electrical parts after they've been installed.

He meant fixing the cables. If the cables are the problem then he will return the part he wouldn't need.
