Default Am I Overboosting?

Hello to all.
I was getting a lot of oil on top of the motor and a fair amount of smoke out of the dipstick tube on my 96 850 turbo. So last friday I replaced the whole PCV system with all OEM parts. Before doing this my factory boost gage was only going to 3/4 at full throttle. Now the car feels more aggressive and the needle goes to the end and then some at full throttle. Is this normal or will it cause me problems down the line? Also I lost one of my intake manifold bolts and I could use specs on these for replacement. A part number or picture to give the parts supplier would be extremely helpful. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Tech, thank you so much for your input. Will check all the hoses this weekend. Hopefully the engine will be in one piece by then, i kinda like overboosting. Let you know what happens. Thanks again.

When ours overboosted, it would cut out to keep from damaging the engine until you backed off on it. Still trying to sort it out.

Can't understand what exactly happened, it never overboosted before i replaced PCV system. I am having the very same symptoms as you, it cuts out too when the needle goes over white line (overboost) on the stock boost gage. Does anyone have diagram of all the hoses going to and from the turbo? Thanks.
