AWD Easy Rear Suspension setup.
For those of you who missed my thread on VS. This is for the AWD guys looking for new nivomats + rear Drop.
On my car i found out how it was done by checking the part number.
You start off with your original 245$ (or something) nivomats, and you replace them with the much similar more-like-a-shock and much cheaper "nivomats". From what i see this should bolt right on, if not, you'll have to order the right top plate.

Due to the softness of these compared to the regular nivomats, your rear will sag alot and give you a dropped look. At this point you have already replaced your old nivomats, and now you just need to order springs. (custom out of an eibach catalog) in the coming weeks i will be ordering a pair, and will update when that time comes.
I need to do some number crunching to find out what size spring and spring rate i need.
Total Cost approx 260$ plus shipping. (83 each shock and about 50 each spring)
By custom ordering you springs you can choose the height of your car, however be careful with these calculations and use a guide) As far as i know this is the best (besides coilover) and most cost efficent way of chaning your springs + drop.. However you must change both at the same time. Inless your like me you don't mind the sag in the back.
let me know what you guys think.
Disclaimer: I found out this way to do it, it comes with no guarantee and not heavily tested ( i bought the car this way)
