Bit of oil in intake tubes

Bit of oil in intake tubes
Hey folks, I am the proud owner of a shiny new '96 850R, 146k miles. This is my first Volvo, but I do know the folks that have them absolutely love 'em. I purchased it for a great price, the only catch being the timing belt has snapped. I have purchased several cars with broken belts before, and am familiar with the general getting new valves, new headgasket, water pump, and so on process. Nothing too new, this time it's a Volvo.
However, I did find some oil in the intake tube between the turbo and intake. Not much, but enough to make me wonder. Also worth noting, this car has sat for a while. (~2 years)
Anyways, just wondering if I should pay any mind to this or just keep working away at the timing belt. About to do a compression check with the cams out, I am pretty sure new valves will be in order but you never know...
Is this oil normal or should I be looking into it?

What makes you think it is not an R? I am holding the title here, and the title does not say R, but when I type the vin # off of the title into a vin decoder it confirms it. Plus there is an R emblem on the trunk lid, plus I have the original window sticker in the glove box. Pretty safe bet in my opinion, but I would be interested to hear why you think it might not be.
Thanks the peace of mind with the oil. How do I go about checking shaft play?

These cars have a PCV system that gets clogged up. You may want to replace that system while you're knee deep. It's a very neglected part of maintenance and likely needs replaced.
1. Timing belt.
2. PCV system.
3. OEM or Mann oil filters only.
4. Evaporator leaks.
5. AC compressor clutch.
Just read the NEW 850 OWNER thread if you haven't already.

Yes I do know that they came with special wheels. The tires on it and the only one that came with it are snow tires, so it might be safe to assume that the PO sold the wheels and tires and left the snow tires on it when he broke down. Makes sense anyways.
There is definitetly a 58 in the vin on 6-7, so I think that pretty much confirms it.
Not going to get to work on it today, but I will keep you updated.
Rspi- have I been talking to you on youtube?
