Default Blower motor not working.

The blower motor won't spin when i turn it on. (ECC) I took out the blower motor and jumped it with the battery and it works. Then i put the multi meter on the blower connector without the blower motor attached. I get 5,2V on speeds 1 2 3 and 4. Then connected the motor and put the multi meter on the wires and i get no voltage. I have no idea why this is happening. Can anyone shed some light on this strange problem.

there's a ballast resistor that controls the blower speed. (you can access it by removing the glove box). Does the blower turn on when you set it on the highest speed (which takes the resistor out of the circuit)?

Do the ac and recirc lights flash when you first start the car? If so have you checked for codes?
The fan 6/26, has 12 v all the time. the fan resister 4/31 provides a ground when the CCM 4/30 tells it to for speeds 1, 2, and 3. 4th speed is full voltage. So either the fan resister is not doing what the CCM is telling it, or the CCM is not telling the fan resister.

Now ECC does not have 1,2,3,4 on the fan switch. MCC does - that diagram is below the ECC diagram. It works the opposite - the fan switch provides 12 v to the dropping resister 20/18 and it reduces the voltage for 1,2,3 speeds. There is a relay for 4th speed and the fan itself is grounded. Note there is a different fuse for 4th speed (#5) for the MCC system. When a resister on a MCC system goes bad it still works on 4th speed ( as long as the relay and fuse as good)
