Hey guys, Austen here. I'm new to the forum..I got a 850 I'm trying to get up to spec for registration.

It has a brake light issue..Whenever I apply the brake, the left brake light doesn't light up and the right one dims out and fades on...I've had it in the driveway for a while now, I really wanna get it on the road soon before snow starts to fly.

I'm thinking you probably have a short somewhere.

 

I'm guessing that the board behind your tail light is fried. if you look back there on the inside of the trunk, there's a plastic piece that has the plastic snaps to keep it in place. pull that out and go get another one from a junk yard. Simple solution.
