brake light switch 850
Thanks to the forum community for all the great info that keeps my car on the road !!
Had intermittent brake lights and found it to be a common problem. Bulbs good, fuse good,
so I jiggled the plunger on the switch and got them to work, then they went out again.
Figured the plunger to be sticky so I gave it the "old WD40 ", worked it a little and good
as new. Being curious I popped out the switch and took it apart to clean the contacts
and really get the WD on the plunger. The hardest part was disconnecting the wire
harness ( always have trouble with those ! ). Works fine ,but when it goes again I'll
put in a new one. Hope this helps someone out.
