My question is in regards to my Camshaft Position Sensor. Are these different part #'s interchangeable? My CPS part # is 0232-101-009.


I have found part no. 0232-101-023 and 0232-101-030. My CPS part no. seems harder to find, and the dealer price is outrageous. When I look around the web I see more of these other Bosch part #'s and they all say they are compatible and would work. I would like to stay with Bosch. They look the same visually and so far I have found 3 different ones that are all very similar. Even FCP Euro shows a different part number. Seems like # 0232-101-030 is the most common one. I carry spare parts in the car and swapped them out when they start giving problems like the fuel relay and coil. The car is 22 yrs old and factory parts are starting to go.

Yes, my CPS is like the one with the black plastic cover, but I when I search around the web for prices they are all over the place. The other one to the right of your pic is the one I keep getting as a direct replacement.
