1994 850 Turbo Wagon. I tried to check the diagnostic codes this morning to start to troubleshoot the SRS light displaying (posted in another thread), but the red light that's supposed to flash the codes doesn't flash at all. Here's what I did:

- Turned the ignition on (position II).

- Put the jumper wire from A into A2, then pressed the black button for one second. Result: no red light.

- Same as above with jumper into B5. No red light.

I sucessfully read the codes some time ago, but not this morning. I'm hoping I skipped doing something I need to do.

 

The instructions I have say to plug flylead into the module then switch on the ignition. This may be why you are not reading codes.

 

Thanks, but I also have those instructions and did it that way first. I did it both ways and neither worked.

 

Try firmly pushing for 2-3 seconds.

 

Having re-read my instructions, which are split for the various components, some say to push for 5 seconds.
